PHILADELPHIA -- Women's golf also had a new No. 1 player on Monday. The same day Lee Westwood replaced Tiger Woods as the men's No. 1, Jiyai Shin knocked Cristie Kerr from the top spot after tying for fourth place in South Korea on Sunday. Kerr, who took the No. 1 ranking from Ai Miyazato last week, tied for 12th place at the Hana Bank Championship and dropped to No. 2. Shin isn't exactly a new No. 1. In fact, this is her third stint atop the rankings this season -- the first began the day after Lorena Ochoa retired. It will be the 11th week overall that she has held the spot. Suzann Pettersen moved up one spot to No. 3, knocking Miyazato down to No. 4, and Hana Bank champion Na Yeon Choi climbed one place to No. 5, bumping Yani Tseng to No. 6. Michelle Wie and Song-Hee Kim remained seventh and eighth, while Paula Creamer moved up one spot to ninth, dropping In Kyung Kim to 10th.
