LPGA stars in London

Seven of golf's shooting stars, including Julie Inkster, Lorie Kane and Natalie Gulbis, will play in London Monday.

Also coming to the London Hunt and Country Club are Canadian A. J. Eathorne, Meg Mallon, Se Ri Pak and teenage sensation Morgan Pressel.

The Royal Canadian Golf Association hopes to sell the LPGA stars on London -- and committing to play in the $1.7 million Canadian Women's Open at the Hunt Club Aug. 10-13.

The event is not open to the public.

Who's playing:

  • Lorie Kane: Canada's top LPGA player, Kane is a 10-year veteran with 96 top-10 finishes and four victories.
  • Natalie Gulbis: One of the rising stars who won $1 million last year as a rookie.
  • Morgan Pressel: Teenage star from Michigan who finished second in last year's U.S. Open.
  • Meg Mallon: Three-time champion in Canada.
  • A.J. Eathorne: Another Canadian on tour, Eathorne is a six-year veteran with 15 top-10 finishes but no victories.
  • Julie Inkster: A tour headliner, Inkster has 30 victories on the tour, including seven major championship victories.
  • Se Ri Pak: The South Korean pro is another top player; she will be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame next year.
