HOYLAKE, ENGLAND - When Tiger Woods was injured and people didn’t know he would be participating in this year’s British Open at Royal Liverpool, he was still given better odds of winning it than many golfers, at 50-1. When word came out that the 2006 winner at Hoylake would, indeed, be entering the field, the odds of him walking away with his 15th major shot up to 12-1. Some of that hysteria has now evaporated, but Tiger is still listed at 20-1. (Odds given by William Hill)
