Darren Clarke shot a one-under 69 Sunday and came from behind to win the Iberdrola Open.
Clarke finished his 13th European Tour title at six-under-par 274.
The 42-year-old trailed Chris Wood by four after a double-bogey on No. 11. But Clarke rebounded with birdies on 14 and 15, while Wood dropped five shots in a six-hole span at Pula Golf Club to tumble into a share of second place.
Clarke's 69 was one of three sub-par rounds in a windy final round and all three under-par rounds were 69s.
Wood, who was going for his first European Tour victory, closed with a six- over 76 to end alongside David Lynn (70) at minus-three. Alastair Forsyth was one stroke back at two-under-par 278 after closing with a 70.
Course designer Jose Maria Olazabal struggled to a three-over 73 Sunday to slide into a share of fifth place at minus-one. He was joined there by Paul Lawrie (70), Graeme Storm (70) and Shane Lowry (74).
