There’s going to be a lot of second-guessing in Colorado after that debacle.

Denver could have done a number of things differently — and should have done a lot of things differently. Playing Monday-morning (or Sunday-night) quarterback is easy when a team bungles a game as spectacularly as the Broncos did.

Here are five of the biggest mess-ups Sunday:

1. Duh.

Losing the ball on the first play of the game was as brutal as it comes. Instead of feeding off of all of the pre-game festivities and getting off to a good start, Denver was behind before some people had even had time to load up at the nacho station.
