NEW YORK - Come Super Bowl XLVIII, proud chest-pounding Canadians might point to Toronto’s Orlando Franklin as the guy who put the “O” in the Denver Broncos’ O-line.

But the truth of the matter is, credit all five beefy members of Peyton’s Posse for providing Denver’s franchise quarterback with the best protection in the entire National Football League this season.

There is no doubt that the Broncos’ Fab Five fittingly will get its biggest test of the season in this, the biggest game of the season. Indeed, going up against Seattle’s Legion of Boom, the top-ranked defence in the NFL, will provide the ultimate challenge for right tackle Franklin, right guard Louis Vasquez, centre Manny Ramirez, left guard Zane Beadles and left tackle Chris Clark, whose collective job will be to keep Manning’s rump from continuously being dumped on to the MetLife Stadium rug on Sunday.
