If this winds up being Jonathan Goodwin's last season with the San Francisco 49ers, or even in the NFL, a Super Bowl championship would be even sweeter.

The Niners visit the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in the NFC championship game (6:30 p.m. EST, CTV/FOX) with a berth in Super Bowl XLVIII on the line.

A 12th-year centre, Goodwin anchors one of the NFL's premier offensive lines.

He's flanked by two Pro Bowlers (tackle Joe Staley and guard Mike Iupati), one Pro Bowl alternate (guard Alex Boone) and one of the league's best young right tackles (Anthony Davis).
