BOSTON - Like most of the rest of us, Tom Brady took Sunday afternoon off and watched some NFL playoffs.

So what did he think of Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, his career rival who he will meet in yet another big playoff clash next Sunday in the Mile High City?

“He’s got great command of the offence, he can pretty much do whatever he wants,” Brady said Monday morning on his weekly radio show. “He’s got a lot of confidence in what he’s doing and he’s got confidence in the guys around him.

“It’s clearly the same offence he’s always run. He’s very good at it and the player’s he got around him are very talented. That’s a great position to be in when you are a quarterback.”

Brady and Manning will meet in the AFC Championship for the third time and the fourth overall in the playoffs, with the Patriots quarterback holding a 2-1 edge in wins.
