Sitting in prison is apparently not getting O.J. Simpson down.
Especially during the NFL's biggest game.
The former Buffalo Bills star running back hosted a Super Bowl party in his cell in Nevada, according to the New York Post.
The 65-year-old Simpson, serving a 33-year sentence at Lovelock Correctional Center for kidnapping and armed robbery, had fellow prisoners cram into his 80-square-foot cell to watch the game on TV.
"If you have the money, you can buy a TV at the inmate store and put it in your cell," Simpson's friend Norman Pardo told the Post.
Apparently Simpson is also a favourite among the inmates.
"He's like the Godfather of the prison now," Pardo said.
Simpson was found not guilty of the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in his highly publicized trial in 1995. In 1997, a civil court awarded a $33.5 million judgment against Simpson for their wrongful deaths.
