Super Bowl broadcaster hoping for close affair

In the television game, it’s all about the bottom line, and the bottom line is all about ratings.

In fact, the word ratings probably should be spelled with a dollar sign: rating$.

Ratings are the trigger that opens America’s corporate vaults every year for a one-day orgy of advertising spending on Super Bowl Sunday.
