Mitch Ross, deer-antler spray guy, a real piece of work
Maker of healing product refused to answer questions about Ray Lewis
By JOHN KRYK, QMI Agency

Mitch Ross, co-owner of a company called S.W.A.T.S. (Sports with Alternatives to Steroids), holds up deer antler velvet spray and "pain chips" as he speaks to the media in New Orleans, La., Fev. 1, 2013. (BRUCE BENNETT/Getty Images/AFP)

Mitch Ross touts the healing and performance-enhanacing powers of his deer antler velvet spray.

And of one of his other mystical, magical products – what he calls “pain chips.”

But Ross isn’t a doctor. Or a chemist. Or a physicist. Or a licensed or recognized medicinal expert of any kind, apparently.

What’s more, Ross cannot seem to find one such expert in the Great 48 to lend credence or validity to his seemingly preposterous claims that his products not only improve athletic performances, but can cure ALS, and can reverse the effects of post-concussion damage to the brain.

Do you think Chad Johnson can still play at a high level in the NFL?
Yes, he is a talented receiver
No, he is too old to play
CFL might be a better option
