Former Super Bowl quarterback Jim Miller weighs in on the big game

Football players are creatures of habit. From practice times to team meetings, a lot of what they do is based on routine.

But there is nothing routine about the Super Bowl. Whether it be the organizing of game plans or the demands of family and friends, almost everything about the days leading up to the title game is different than anything experienced during the season and the playoffs.

When it comes to the Super Bowl, a lot of game-planning is completed the week before. That’s when outside distractions are at a minimum. Teams are at their normal practice facilities and can concentrate on x’s and o’s.
