NFL notes: Faulk, Williams question title game wins

Cheaters never prosper – except, perhaps, in the NFL.

Then, they go to Super Bowls, where some even win.

At least that’s the way Marshall Faulk and Kyle Williams see it.

Faulk believes the St. Louis Rams were cheated out of a victory against the New England Patriots at Super Bowl XXXVI.

That’s more than a decade ago. But the emotional wounds are still raw.

Williams, meantime, is annoyed the NFL didn’t investigate the New York Giants after several players admitted they targeted the San Francisco 49ers receiver – due to his concussion history – for big hits in last year’s NFC title game.

Williams had two key fumbles in a game the Giants ultimately won.

Is first round pick Eric Fisher a decent choice by the Kansas City Chiefs?
  Yes.
  No.
He has to prove himself before I decide.
