As we mark the 21st Sunday of NFL for this season, why not drop XXI Super Bowl betting tidbits into the mix:

I. The favourite currently holds a 25-19-2 against the spread (ATS) edge over the underdogs.

II. The underdog is on a current 8-3 ATS run.

III. The NFC has won 21 of past 31 Super Bowls with a 20-9-2 ATS mark in the process.

IV. The NFC has won and covered the previous three Super Bowls.

V. Of six Super Bowls played at the New Orleans Superdome, the favourite holds a slight 3-2-1 edge ATS.

VI. Baltimore has been in one Super Bowl, winning and covering as a 3-pt. favourite over the Giants.

VII. San Francisco has been in five Super Bowls, winning all five. The 49ers were favoured in all five Super Bowl appearances and failed to cover only once when they defeated Cincinnati 20-16 as a 7-pt. favourite.
