Frank Gore needs to pull up his socks.

The NFL fined the San Francisco 49ers running back $10,500 for wearing his socks too low against the Atlanta Falcons during the NFC Championship Game last Sunday, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.

Gore ran for two touchdowns and 90 yards, helping propel the 49ers past the Falcons 28-24 and into the Super Bowl.

According to the league's uniform code, "stockings must cover the entire area from the shoe to the bottom of the pants, and must meet the pants below the knee."

This is the second time Gore has been fined this year. He previously was fined the same amount, $10,500, for throwing a ball into the crowd against the Arizona Cardinals in the regular season finale.

Is first round pick Eric Fisher a decent choice by the Kansas City Chiefs?
  Yes.
  No.
He has to prove himself before I decide.
