ATLANTA - Only one thing was going through Colin Kaepernick's mind.

When his San Francisco 49ers trailed 17-0 early in the second quarter, and the noise in the Georgia Dome was so loud it made your temples throb, Kaepernick did not panic.

The only thing going through the young quarterback's mind?

"We've got to score," Kaepernick said.

They did.

Then they kept on scoring, or threatening to score, on every subsequent possession until punting with the lead with 13 seconds remaining.

That and a late defensive stand at the 'Frisco 10-yard line was enough to give the Niners a 28-24 victory in the NFC championship game, before 70,863.

Do you think Chad Johnson can still play at a high level in the NFL?
Yes, he is a talented receiver
No, he is too old to play
CFL might be a better option
