ATLANTA - Trying to figure out how spectacular a quarterback Russell Wilson can be is like freeze-framing a rocket just after liftoff at Cape Canaveral.

You're impressed as hell with its elevation already but from its breathtaking trajectory you can't wait to see how high you know it'll go, barring a major malfunction.

That's Wilson's career arc.

The Seattle Seahawks quarterback saw his rookie season end abruptly Sunday in Atlanta. But if he can get excited about next year before even exiting the Georgia Dome field, so can we.
