Seahawks – Last week we highlighted Seattle’s favourite play, the outside zone stretch run for Marshawn Lynch. Here’s another play that fast is becoming one of the Seahawks’ most effective – out of a spread formation with trips (3 receivers) to one side, and a fourth to the other. Quarterback Russell Wilson and Lynch run the zone-read option, with Lynch tracking to the trips side, Wilson to the other. This play skewered the Bills in Toronto in December, and at least three times victimized the Redskins last week, both when Wilson handed to Lynch and when he kept it.
