Texans will have hands full against Pats
By Mike Rutsey, QMI Agency
It’s a tale of two cities, a tale of triumph and a tale of woe. First the victors — the Houston Texans. By virtue of their 19-13 victory over an outmanned Cincinnati Bengals squad, the former top-rated team in the AFC earned the right to make the trip to Foxboro next Sunday to take on the mighty New England Patriots. There weren’t a whole lot of folks who had faith in the Texans prevailing on Saturday and there will be next to no one who believes they can come up with a victory over the Pats. Tom Brady or Matt Schaub? Who do you like? Case closed. The Texans, though, did a few things right on Saturday. Chief among them was downing the Bengals, winners of seven of their past eight. All week long the story line was that the Bengals were the up-and-coming team and it was the Texans, who stumbled with a 1-3 record down the stretch, that were ripe for the picking. |
