Andy Reid could spurn Cardinals for Chiefs

So much for all those stories earlier this week alleging that the marriage between Andy Reid and the Arizona Cardinals was pretty much consummated.
It seems that before the Cards could put a ring on his chubby finger — or, in this case, his signature on a contract — he was swept off his feet by another suitor, namely the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to the NFL Network, Reid on Thursday had started the wheels in motion toward cancelling scheduled interviews with both the Cardinals and the Chargers. The report added that the Chiefs are attempting to sweep the rotund Reid off his feet in order to keep him from chatting with other teams, much in the same manner that the Bills would not let free agent Mario Williams leave Buffalo to visit with other organizations this past-offseason until he had inked a deal with them.
In running back Jamaal Charles, wideout Dwayne Bowe and swingman Dexter McCluster, Reid would have a number of offensive weapons at his disposal in Kans
