Fear not, Chicago Bears fans.

Head coach Marc Trestman is not turning the Bears into some kind of all-star team of ex-Canadian Football Leaguers.

Earlier this week, the Bears signed longtime CFL long snapper Chad Rempel. He spent the past five seasons with the Toronto Argos and, for four days in June 2009, was a Montreal Alouette under then-head coach Trestman.

In December, the Bears signed Chris Williams, the former dazzling kick returner with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
