Quarterback Russell Wilson not only led the Seattle Seahawks over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, but he now outranks losing quarterback Peyton Manning for the top-selling NFL jersey.

Wilson was also No. 1 in the NFL Players Association's Top 50 list, which ranks total overall sales of player merchandise from March 1, 2013 through Feb. 28, 2014. The NFLPA index is based on sales of all licensed products from online and traditional retail outlets as reported by more than 70 licensees -- products could include jerseys, posters, stickers, bobble heads, etc.

Wilson jumped from No. 18 on the previous list to take the top spot. Wilson beat out Manning for jersey sales on NFLshop.com.

Overall, the Seahawks were the top-ranked team in merchandise sales on NFLshop.com. Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch (fifth) and cornerback Richard Sherman (sixth) joined Wilson in the top 10 of jersey sales.

Other notables on the jersey-sales list included San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick at No. 3 and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady ranked fourth.
