How about that pipeline from Saskatchewan to the Seattle Seahawks?

The Super Bowl champions have added their second former University of Regina Rams player, signing long snapper Jorgen Hus, the team announced Thursday.

The deal is for three years.

The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder from Saskatoon presumably will compete with Clint Gresham for the long snapper’s job this spring and summer.

Punter Jon Ryan is Seattle’s other Saskatchewanian. He’s from Regina.

Should Hus beat out Gresham to win the long snapper’s job, Seattle’s kick teams would feature a double Regina battery. Hus would snap to Ryan not only on punts but on placekicks as well, as Ryan is the holder for Steven Hauschka.
