It’s “highly unlikely” the NFL will give the boot to the extra point this year, Jeff Fisher said at the scouting combine.

The St. Louis Rams head coach is a long-time, influential member of the league’s competition committee, which met several times last week.

Each year after the season ends, the committee surveys the NFL’s 32 clubs about the playing rules (on the field) and by-laws (off the field), to get a sense of what potential changes the committee should propose, and which might have support.
