INDIANAPOLIS - Last year, NFL insiders and draftniks alike insisted the 2013 quarterback draft class was sub-par.
They weren’t kidding.
Critics unite again in lauding this year’s group. Don’t be surprised if it produces three or even four franchise passers, who might all be selected within the first 10 picks on Day 1 of the draft May 8.
Nineteen quarterbacks accepted invitations to participate (to varying degrees) at this week’s NFL scouting combine. They fly in Thursday, meet the press Friday, take a slew of psychological and medical tests Saturday, then run the gamut of athleticism tests before throwing for teams at Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday.
