It’s hard to judge a team’s needs before free agency and it’s hard to judge some players before the combine, but here’s how Round 1 should shake out.

1. Houston Texans

Blake Bortles, QB, UCF

The Texans will take a QB first overall, we’re just not positive which one and Bortles’ name has been in some reports.

2. St. Louis Rams (via WAS)

Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina

You can question his motivation in his junior season, but he’s still a game-changing pass rusher.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville

Perhaps the most naturally talented QB in the draft, but is viewed to have a lower upside.

4. Cleveland Browns

Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M

The front-office turmoil makes this an interesting pick, but the Browns need a QB of the future – again.

5. Oakland Raiders

Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA

Has slid down some mock drafts, but is a can’t-miss talent the Raiders won’t pass u
