Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 24 for misdemeanor criminal mischief and trespassing charges, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The charges reportedly relate to an unspecified incident in December.

"We have spoken with Mike Williams and the local authorities regarding the charges that have been filed against him," the team said in a statement. "All of our players are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the high character and moral responsibility that we demand as representatives of the Buccaneers organization."

Williams played six games in 2013 before he was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. He finished with 22 catches for 216 yards with two touchdowns. He signed a six-year, $40 million contract extension before the season.
