Really, who are they?

Inside cavernous Lucas Oil Stadium late Saturday afternoon the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts will open the post-season on the 2013 season with both teams trying to establish just who and what they are.

Both teams finished with 11-5 records, the Colts as winners of the AFC South while the Chiefs enter as a wild-card team.

Both teams started fast, then went all wobbly-legged leaving a bunch of question marks at a time of the season when there should be few.

The Colts, who had virtually no opposition within their division, opened 6-2, a record that included impressive victories over San Francisco, Seattle and Denver.

But in that Oct. 20 triumph over the Broncos, the Colts lost their great receiver Reggie Wayne with a torn ACL and he would be gone for the season.
