When last we saw Aaron Rodgers on a football field, it was Monday night, Nov. 4, Lambeau Field.

The NFL’s best quarterback and his Green Bay Packers were playing host to their arch-rivals, the Chicago Bears.

After a 1-2 start, Rodgers had led the Packers to four consecutive victories. Green Bay’s offensive attack was becoming lethal again, just like in 2010 and 2011, having scored 75 points over the past two games.

Rodgers’ statistics glistened as usual: a passer rating of 108.0 (which still ranks him fourth in the NFL), 8.84 yards per attempt (second), a 66.9 completion percentage (fourth) and a 15-to-4 TD-to-interception ratio (fourth).

But in the first quarter of that Bears game, Rodgers was driven hard into the ground by pass rusher Shea McClellin.

Crack!
