Pair hospitalized after fan falls from upper deck at Bills game

Two fans were rushed to hospital Sunday after one slid down a railing and fell from the upper deck to the middle deck during the Buffalo Bills-New York Jets game.

The Bills, who play out of Ralph Wilson Stadium in nearby Orchard Park, N.Y., released a statement on Sunday night:

"In the second quarter of this afternoon's Bills/Jets game a fan fell from the 300 level to the 200 level and landed on another fan. Bills staff responded to the incident immediately and were soon joined by emergency personnel.

"Both individuals were then taken to South Side EMS inside the stadium and both were later transported to a local hospital for further observation. These are all the details we have at this time."

No other official information was immediately known.
