The Kansas City Chiefs are the most disrespected 9-0 team in NFL history.

Nobody believes in them. Not the bloodless bookmakers of Las Vegas, who have made them not only an underdog, but an underdog of 8.5 points, for their mile-high visit to play the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

And not the knowledgeable bettors who have taken the initial line of Denver -7 and keep pouring money through the wickets, even as the books try to make it more inviting to play the Chiefs.

And certainly not the ink-stained wretches who write about the NFL and have dismissed the Chiefs as frauds of the highest order.

The whole world thinks Kansas City is going to be taken to the cleaners by Peyton Manning and his other-worldly offensive machine that has averaged more than 40 points per game this year.
