In what is probably the most-anticipated confrontation of the NFL season to date, the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs are heading to Denver next Sunday to play the one-loss Denver Broncos.

Apparently, Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe couldn't wait to get his Mile-High experience, attempting to get there on Sunday night, without even leaving Missouri. Bummer for him, his experimentation was interrupted by a state trooper and that's never a good thing.

Noting a strong smell of marijuana wafting from Bowe's car during a stop for a speeding infraction, the officer discovered two vials containing just over 10 grams of weed.

Chiefs football boss Andy Reid is expected to make a statement on Bowe's status Wednesday, but it's uncertain whether he will face an immediate suspension for the misdemeanour.
