Jay Cutler’s groin-muscle tear was supposed to sideline him for four weeks.

Minimum.

But just 18 days later, Thursday, the quarterback practised fully with his Chicago Bears teammates.

And in another shocker: afterward head coach Marc Trestman declared Cutler good to go for the Bears’ big homefield grudge-match game Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

Trestman heaped praise on his No. 1 signal-caller after making the surprise announcement after Thursday’s workout.
