It was quite the week for quarterbacking switches, with up to three teams making a change at pivot.

The most fantasy relevant, but still murky, is that of the Oakland Raiders. With Terrelle Pryor unlikely to play on Sunday after suffering a concussion last week, Matt Flynn will step in under centre.

Pryor has been quite the surprise so far, leading all quarterbacks in rushing. He has been a decent play in deeper leagues or two-QB formats. He has been medically cleared, but the Raiders want him to take one more concussion test on Saturday. Then, even if he passes, he may not be the starter for Sunday’s game.

Flynn could be getting the start at just the right time too, with Washington coming to town. Washington has given up the second most points to opposing QBs so far this season and is on a pace to break the record for most yards allowed in a season.

The player that the move to Flynn really hurts is Darren McFadden.
