Every time you mention the name Tony Romo to a Dallas Cowboys fan, they wince.

So when it’s Romo himself that’s wincing, it could mean trouble for their beloved Cowboys.

On Sunday, Dallas entertains the up-and-coming St. Louis Rams in one of the more interesting contests of the day.

At 1-1, the Cowboys are still trying to figure out just what kind of team they have and making it more difficult to get a true read is the condition of Romo, who for the second week will be in the ouchy category.

Romo suffered bruised ribs in the Cowboys opener against the New York Giants, a game they almost lost despite six New York turnovers.

Last week in running up against the Kansas City Chiefs, Romo required a painkiller shot in the ribs and will likely get another shot of painkillers prior to suiting up against the Rams.
