Were you as amused as I at the spin Tom Brady tried to put on his clear and undisguised rage with his group of raw receivers on Thursday during his team's game against the Jets?

Brady had one of the worst statistical games of his career, completing less than half his passes for the first time in more than four years, during the Patriots' 13-10 win over the Jets. There was a litany of drops, missed assignments and lousy routes by his receivers. Brady was livid, screaming and gesticulating wildly.

"I think I have to do a better job with my body language," he said afterward. "I definitely can improve that. I wouldn't say it's a real strong point of mine right now. We'll just try to keep doing better. That's what we've got to do."

Body language? Really, Tom?
