Read-option entered the NFL lexicon last season, thanks to Washington, San Francisco, Carolina and Seattle implementing it to varying degrees.

Thanks to those teams’ quarterbacks: Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick, Cam Newton and Russell Wilson, respectively.

Will we see more of it this year? Yes. Certainly by Michael Vick in Philadelphia and rookie EJ Manuel in Buffalo.

Beyond them? Not much more, probably.
