It appeared the NFL’s catastrophic-injury parade added another float on Monday night.

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcolm Floyd went down with a knee injury while trying to catch a goal-line pass at practice. His right knee buckled.

It looked so ugly that quarterback Phil Rivers thought he’d thrown Floyd the last pass of his career. Out came the cart.

But the diagnosis? Only a strain. Nothing torn.
