BOURBONNAIS, ILL. - Jay Cutler goes through offensive coordinators like Sean Connery went through stunt doubles.

Three of them in four years for Cutler. Ron Turner, Mike Martz and Mike Tice all failed to mine the impressive talents that lay within the Chicago Bears quarterback and lost their jobs for it.

Now itís Marc Trestmanís turn. The Bears hired the 57-year-old as head coach and de facto offensive coordinator in January to put an end to the merry-go-round by once and for all moulding the fiery Cutler into an elite quarterback.

Of course Trestman, as most Canadian football fans know, led the Montreal Alouettes to two Grey Cup championships and four Grey Cup appearances in five seasons as head coach. Trestman installed his own version of the West Coast offence in Monteral , wringing every drop of talent out of journeyman old-timer quarterback Anthony Calvillo.
