A couple of weeks ago, I thought to myself, "Man, there don't seem to be nearly as much off-field legal trouble for NFL players this off-season."

Uh, yeah.

On Wednesday morning, the New England Patriots dumped tight end Aaron Hernandez shortly after Massachusetts State Police and local cops stormed his North Attleboro, Mass., home and arrested him. The fourth-year tight end was later charged with first-degree murder and various gun offences in the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, an acquaintance of Hernandez's found dead a week ago Monday.
