Want to stage a Super Bowl?

If your city isn't named New Orleans, you'd better have a sparkly, cutting-edge stadium. Otherwise, forget it.

NFL owners on Tuesday awarded future Super Bowls to San Francisco and Houston.

At their annual spring meeting in Boston, owners first chose San Francisco over South Florida for Super Bowl L (the 50th), which will be played in February 2016.

South Florida became a double loser when owners, as expected, then chose Houston over the Miami area to play host to Super Bowl LI (the 51st) in February 2017.

Super Bowl XLVIII (48) is set for next Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey, and Super Bowl XLIX (49) will be in Glendale, Ariz., to wrap up the 2014 season.
