Who’s hotter than No. 70 Anne Vyalitsyna but a step below No. 68 Nina Agdal?

“Manti Te’o’s fake girlfriend,” according to Maxim, which named Te’o’s make-believe female friend No 69 on its most attractive list Thursday.

“After Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend hoax of 2012, we think it might be nice to have an invisible girl of our own to love,” Maxim wrote. “Why not? She's got a ton of great qualities, including looking awesome in a bikini.”

While the magazine is typically filled with swimsuit models, Victoria’s Secret Angels and other scantily clad women, it appears the editors of 2013’s Hot 100 have a sense of humour.

At No. 69 is an image of a black bikini against a beach backdrop, an obvious shot at the bizarre media circus the former Notre Dame linebacker riled up last year.

Lannay Kekua (the name of Te’o’s fake girlfriend) was conjured up by an apparent hoaxster to fool Te'o, leading the football player to think he had an online and telephonic relationship with a woman who in reality never existed.

Reports of her death during the season became a touching story until it unraveled as an embarrassing hoax, exposed by Deadspin this past winter.

The San Diego Chargers drafted Te’o 38th overall during the second round of this year’s NFL draft.

Some draftniks believe the college standout dropped due to the controversy surrounding whether or not he was aware of the aforementioned hoax all along.
