It’s unlucky number seven for Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino.

A day after his 28th wedding anniversary, it was revealed by the New York Post that he had a seventh child, Chloe — born out of wedlock in June 2005 — with former CBS employee Donna Savattere.

Marino has six children with his wife Claire, who were all born between 1986 and 1996. Despite the affair, the star quarterback has assured fans his marriage is still intact.

“This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then,” Marino told The Post in a written statement. “We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved.

“My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together. And we continue to be a strong and loving family.”

After Chloe’s birth, the Post reports Marino paid Savattere millions to care for his illegitimate daughter. Savattere eventually married Nahill Younis, whom she allegedly met in 2009.

From 1983 to 1999, Marino was one of the National Football League’s elite playcallers for the Miami Dolphins. He still holds 14 league records and has a tight grip on 31 Dolphins records. Marino went on to work as an analyst on CBS’ The NFL Today in 2003, where it is suspected he met Savattere.
