NFL Lions Jahvid Best and Titus Young could be let loose

The Detroit Lions may be ready to cut ties with two players they once believed could develop into stars — one because he has to protect his brain cells, and the other because he doesn’t use them.

Jahvid Best’s career is likely over at 24 because of concussion issues.

Meantime, receiver Titus Young, continues a suicide mission that began last season when he got into a snit, lined up in the wrong places intentionally on offence, and got himself in the dog-house.

Earlier this week, he went on Twitter and said he’d retire if the Lions didn’t get him the ball more often.

Head coach Jim Schwartz responded by suggesting it probably wasn’t a good idea for a player, who is already close to getting kicked off the team, to complain on Twitter about his lack of touches.

On Friday, Young had another message for the team.

“Oh I’m not done, if y’all going to cut me let me go. I’m tired of the threats,” Young tweeted.

Is first round pick Eric Fisher a decent choice by the Kansas City Chiefs?
  Yes.
  No.
He has to prove himself before I decide.
