The Chicago Bears didn’t need just any ordinary head coach.
They needed an offensive architect; someone who could resurrect an offence that ranked 28th in the NFL.
They needed someone who could get inside Jay Cutler’s head; a quarterback whisperer.
They needed someone whose offensive game plan consists of more than a hand-off to Matt Forte, a pass to Brandon Marshall ... and, a prayer.
