Andy Reid lands Chiefs coaching job
Does ex-Eagles boss still have what it takes?
By KEN FIDLIN, QMI Agency

Apparently, the disaster that was the Philadelphia Eagles the past couple of years didn’t take the shine off Andy Reid’s halo.

The ink is barely dry on his settlement papers in Philadelphia and already he has been gobbled up and swallowed whole by the Kansas City Chiefs, who dismissed their own disaster, Scott Pioli, as a sign to Reid that the football kingdom of western Missouri was all his. Reid got a five-year deal with total control of the football operation.

Reid had a free hand in Philadelphia the past couple of seasons and spent a gazillion dollars to build what he believed to be a powerhouse. That powerhouse won a grand total of 12 games in two seasons, missing the playoffs both times. Not that Reid’s career as a talent evaluator and game manager is anything to sniff at. But you have to wonder if he hasn’t lost it.

Is first round pick Eric Fisher a decent choice by the Kansas City Chiefs?
  Yes.
  No.
He has to prove himself before I decide.
