This season's fantasy football studs and duds
By DAN BILICKI, QMI Agency
With the 2012 fantasy season over for all intents and purposes — don’t worry those who play Week 17 head-to-head or in total-points leagues, your advice is on the right of the page — it’s time for our annual fantasy awards roundup. QUARTERBACK STUDS: Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers. Just the names you’d expect to be tops in the fantasy world. DUDS: Michael Vick, Jay Cutler, Eli Manning. Vick crashed and burned spectacularly before getting hurt and losing his job. HIT SLEEPERS: Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning. Those who drafted RG3 as a backup had one heck of a trading chip — or a great starter. SLEPT IN: Ryan Tannehill, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tim Tebow. I’m not sure if we’ll ever get a reason why the Jets were so stubborn with Tebow. RUNNING BACK STUDS: Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster, Doug Martin. Those who gambled on AP in their draft walked away winners this season. |
