Robert Griffin III wins first rookie QB honour

In the battle of the rookie quarterbacks, Washington Redskins’ Robert Griffin III has won the first honour.

Indeed, when the results for the 2013 Pro Bowl rosters were released on Wednesday night, RG3 was the only one of the Fab Three freshman QBs to make the cut after finding his name on the NFC team. Neither Indianapolis Colts’ Andrew Luck nor Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson could crack the AFC squad, bumped out by New England Patriots’ Tom Brady, Denver Broncos’ Peyton Manning and Houston Texans’ Matt Schaub.

Luck’s teammate, wide receiver Reggie Wayne did manage to make the AFC team at age 34, a development no one would have predicted when Manning left the Colts last summer.

Do you think Chad Johnson can still play at a high level in the NFL?
Yes, he is a talented receiver
No, he is too old to play
CFL might be a better option
