NFL notes: Redskins get good news about RGIII's knee

That warm, air flow from the south, pushing temperatures up over the freezing mark this week, could be the result of all those Redskins’ fans in Washington exhaling at once.

They’ve been collectively holding their breath ever since quarterback Robert Griffin III sprinted into the Baltimore Ravens defence Sunday and had Haloti Ngata take out his landing gear.

Griffin underwent an MRI on his right knee Monday and has been told he has a ligament sprain not, as feared by some, a tear.

Is first round pick Eric Fisher a decent choice by the Kansas City Chiefs?
  Yes.
  No.
He has to prove himself before I decide.
