THE 3 BIG MATCHUPS

Batch vs All Odds

It appears Ben Roethlisberger is out of the big Ravens-Steelers game. The Pittsburgh QB couldn’t reacquire the necessary zip on the ball, after hurting his right shoulder and ribs almost a month ago. Instead, rusty, 149-year-old Charlie Batch tries to become the first Steelers QB to beat Baltimore since before Big Ben was drafted. In Baltimore. Good luck.

Colts vs Role-Reversal Correction

Indy is 7-4. Detroit is 4-7. Just like we all figured their records would be back in August, right? One of these weeks the Colts are liable to have a stinker, and if the Lions don’t begin mailing it in, this might be the week. The game is in Detroit. Oh, and Indy QB Andrew Luck might want to wear a titanium jock. Ndamukong Suh’s accidental kicks are lethal.
